Nagpur: A major controversy has arisen in the city’s Jaripatka area over a Ganesh idol. A video related to this issue has gone viral on social media.
According to information provided by DCP Zone 5 Neetan Kadam, although Rudra Avatar Ganesh Mandal installed the idol in the Jaripatka area, several objections were raised because the idol had been prepared using drainage pipes. As a result, sentiments of many were hurt, leading to protests against the Mandal for immersing the idol.

However, in this dispute, nationalist leader Vedprakash Arya (65, Jaripatka, Nagpur) intervened. Some people approached him with incorrect information, causing him to visit the Rudra Avatar Ganesh Mandal premises and create chaos. Subsequently, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis was insulted.
The video of this incident has gone viral on social media. Following this, a complaint has been filed against them at the Jaripatka police station, and the police have initiated further investigation into the matter.”
