Nagpur: Massive protest called by Indian National Congress (INC) Party against Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) led Central Government’s arbitrary fuel rates across the country, has resulted into a clash between BJP and Congress workers, after the latter was denied permission to carry protest near Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sang (RSS) HQ here, on Sunday.
Congress workers led by local leader and Corporator Bunty Shelke were agitating against fuel hike in Central Nagpur. During the mass procession at Mahal, Congress workers decided to carry protest near RSS Headquarters. However, as they tried to approach RSS Headquarters, BJP workers opposed them. Owing to which an argument broke down between the two national parties. Soon the scenario turned tense and senior officials of Nagpur Police have to intervene to sort the issue.
