Nagpur News : The victims in the molestation case by school teacher in Kalamna were presented before Court on Saturday. All the eight victims were presented before court to record their statements. The accused teacher Pradeep Gupta has been kept in police remand till March 26 and has been probed in the incidence.
It is noted that all Std IX students informed the police that their teacher Pradeep Gupta has been continuously touch them inappropriate places and arrested the teacher. Pradeep Gupta used to take advantage of the girls on the pretext of failing them if they did not oblige to his demands. Fearing failure in examination, the girls gave in. The girls shared their grief with each other and finally decided to lodge a complaint Gupta. But, they turned empty handed when police considered it to be a fake complaint and did not take the complaint seriously.
After facing mush pressure Kalamna Police finally registered the complaint and arrested Gupta. On Friday, the girls were presented in the court amidst high security in front of a lady judge.
To make the girls at ease, all lady officers were dressed in civil. Parents of the victims were also present at the court room. The girls narrated every detail to the court. The girls informed the court that Gupta would call them alone and sometimes times to touch them in the classroom on the pretext of explaining some points.
The victims said, they could not muster courage to complaint against Gupta but when their tolerance broke they finally lodged a complaint against Gupta.
