Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA) in association with Lemon Ideas celebrated NATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR’S DAY recently at Lemon Ideas office. As part of the program organized on 19th January, 16 grassroots entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers were recognized for their wonderful work. Kanchan Gadkari graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and felicitated the winners. She expressed her happiness at the fact that entrepreneurs especially women who were working on the ground level were able to sustain themselves well. She appreciated the efforts of LEMON & VIA towards job creation and innovation.
Individuals from diverse fields were felicitated on the occasion including Nitin Biyani (Chai-Villa), Bhayashree Deshpande (Abhyudhya Global Village School), Mukta Katakwar (Service On Wheel), Tanveer Mirza (Yashodhara Foundation), Lalit Vikamshi (Alag Angle), Amol Khante (CAC-All Rounder), Chanda Kale (Paper Doll Enterprise), Mahesh Kariya (Shree Chikki), Abhijeet Barse (Slum Soccer), Dhawal Popat (JDP Super Foods Pvt. Ltd.), Wasudev Mishra (Silai Gram), Vijay Limay (Eco-Friendly Living Foundation), Vrundan Bawankar (Gram Vikas Sanstha), Rahul Thakre (Maha Orange), Shailesh Pisalkar (Bhartiya Dnyanpith Bahhuuddeshiya Gramin Vikas Sanstha) and Chahul Balpande (Parkingwala).
Dr Suhas Buddhe, Vice President – VIA; Deepak Menaria, Founder & CEO – Lemon Ideas, Mukesh Ashar, Director – Lemon School of Entrepreneurship, Nitin Gujarathi, Senior Mentor of Lemon ideas and Poonam Khandelwal, Chairperson – VIA Entrepreneurship Forum were amongst those prominently present.
Deepak Menaria mentioned that Lemon Ideas and VIA were jointly organizing the National Entrepreneur’s Day each year since 2017 to commemorate the launching of Startup India initiative by our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on 16th January 2016 with the objective of recognizing the contribution made by the entrepreneurs of Nagpur & around. This year the awards were given to grass root contributors doing commendable work working on the grass-root level in various domains like Sports, Food, Social work , arts, education, services and more.
Dr Suhas Buddhe mentioned about the various initiatives by VIA & Lemon for the benefit of entrepreneurs and urged entrepreneurs to take advantage of these initiatives.
The program was hosted by Mukesh Ashar, Senior mentor, Lemon Ideas. Krishnkant Chaturvedi CEO- Innopreneurs in his address shared about the India wide startup contest and declared the dates of finale on 1-2 Feb in Nagpur. Students, professionals and many entrepreneurs from across different cities were present on the occasion to mark National Entrepreneurs Day.
