Nagpur: In the VHA-Bhartiya Aqua School Hockey League tournament being played at VHA Ground, four matches were played on Thursday between Swaminarayan School, Era International, Dinanath School, St John’s High School, Kids School, Royal Gondwana, Nagpur Madhyamik.
In the first match played between girls teams, Swaminarayan School defeated Era International by 1-0. Ayushi Bansod scored the winning goal.
In the second match played between boys teams, Swaminarayan School trounced Dinanath School by a margin of 4-2 goals. Mihanshu scored 1, Akash Barbate 2 and Aditya Shukla scored 1 goal for the winners. For Dinanath, Himanshu Kamble and Ayush Shukla were the scorers with one goal each.
In the match between St John’s School and Kids School, the former tasted victory by a margin of 3-1 goals. For the winning St John’s, Siddesh Deshmukh hit the post twice while Fawwaz Ahmed scored one goal. Rohit Garg of Kids School was the lone scorer with one goal.
In the fourth match, Royal Gondwana drubbed Nagpur Madhyamik by 4-1.
