Varun Dhawan on Friday shared new behind-the-scenes pictures of his upcoming film, Sui Dhaaga.
The actor announced the final shooting schedule of the film was underway, and posed alongside the team, and co-star Anushka Sharma in the picture.
Varun’s post was retweeted by the official Twitter account for Yash Raj Films, the studio behind the film.

In the picture, Varun can be seen posing beside the Sui Dhaaga team, with three cakes laying before them on a table. It appears that Varun and Anushka’s faces have been printed on the cakes. He captioned the picture, “Sui dhagga. Mamta and mauji back to change the game. Last sched.”
Sui Dhaaga is the story of a self-reliant tailor called Mauji, played by Varun and an embroiderer named Mamta, played by Anushka. The film was rumoured to be based in part on the Prime Minister’s Make in India campaign, which championed local industries.
Directed by Sharat Kataria, who earlier directed Dum Laga Ke Haisa, the film is slated for release on September 28. Varun recently earned rave reviews for his performance in Shoojit Sircar’s October, and Anushka will next be seen in a supporting role in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju.
