The newly elected office bearers of the Student council of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) will take oath of duty on Thursday February 6 at Buty Hall in Ramdaspeth.
Student council President Rahul Kishnani and Secretary Amoghvarsh Rathod along with other 15 elected members will swear in at the inaugural function of the student council body at 10.30 am.

A workshop for the newly elected general secretaries of all the colleges under RTMNU will also be conducted during the day. Vice Chancellor Dr.Vilas Sapkal will preside over the ceremony. National Secretary, ABVP, Ashish Chauhan and State Vice President, NCP youth congress will be the chief guests at the programme.
The election results for the RTMNU Student Council was declared last year on October 22, 2013. The ABVP- NCP coalition had swept the elections nixing the dominance of Sangram Parishad for the last 3 years.
