Brig Vijay Kumar, Commandant Institute of Military Law with Colonel (Dr) AK Vashishta, Dy Commandant IML planting a tree during ‘Vanmahotsav’ at IML, Kamptee.
Nagpur: The Officers, Junior Commissioned Officer and Other Ranks of Institute of Military Law observed “Vanmahotsav” by planting a variety of saplings in the 42 acres area of the Institute. The plantation drive was started by digging of pits and then planting more than hundred saplings in the training area, the newly renovated barracks and officer’s mess.
The saplings of trees like Gulmohar, Amaltas, Champa, Alistromi, Boganvilla, Hibiscus, Jakranda and Exora were planted in the foregrounds of DM Sen Centre for excellence library as well as Gorthi and Sanan Blocks. The plantation drive was initiated by Brigadier Vijay Kumar, Commandant, Colonel (Dr) AK Vashishta, Deputy Commandant. All the Officers, Junior Commissioned Officer and Non Commissioned Officers of the Institute participated in the tree plantation drive.
