Bollywood’s current singing sensation Arijit Singh who delivered hits like “Tum hi ho” from Aashiqui 2, Raabta (Yaariyan), Hara kisi to (Boss) and more recently soul soothing number “Main dhoondne to jab zaamane mein wafa nikla” from just released movie Heartless is suffering from ill health at the moment and still recovering. However, more than his illness he repented not turning up for performance at annual function of Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE) – YASH 14.0.
In the video Arijit Singh was seen expressing his disappointment and inability to come to Nagpur for the performance owing to his illness. The video shows Arijit wrapped in a blanket and uttering words in choked voice.
Arijit’s show in the list of programmes to be conducted during YCCE’s annual function was one of the prime attractions of the event but it had to be cancelled in the nth hour for Arijit’s illness after postponing it from February 2 to February 4.
Later the college management announced cancellation of Arijit’s show that left many of his fans in Nagpur grieving in disappointment. Even Arijit too felt very bad about whatever happened.
Appearing on the video from his bed Arijit said, ”Hi friends, management and students of YCCE college, Nagpur. I am sorry I could not travel as you can see my situation right now. I am really unwell. I am highly feverish. My voice is completely broken right now. Can’t talk as well. My doctor advised me to sleep and rest for atleast 2-3 days. So my management and college management guys are fixing up the date till next 2-3 days and I am praying to god that I should be fine in these days and I should be able to see your very soon and perform. I am very sorry, I could not travel. You take care and pray for me that I will get well soon. Thank you very much.”
In the video Arijit was seen as promising to turn up for the show but eventually could not make that for his health remained bad for the coming days.
