Nagpur: Under the jurisdiction of Koradi police station, certain antisocial elements have succeeded in grabbing the land, house and plots of two farmers, and they have constructed even protection wall around the grabbed property.
The matter was reported to Koradi police station, but the accused party produced the fake 7/12 documents as well as fake registration papers obtained from joint registrar’s office in support of their claim. Thus, the police was helpless in taking any action against the accused party.
The victim farmers, Manohar Kelwadkar and Swapnil Kedar then filed written complaints with the Chief Minister, the State Home Minister, Home Secretary and the Director General of Police (Mumbai), but the accused party succeeded in misleading the government machinery during inquiry.
In the month of June 2015, the complainants then submitted details of their grievance to State Crime Investigation Department’s Addl DGP, Pune. As a result, the SP (CID) has ordered investigation in the allegations. All eyes are now set at the outcome of the investigation.
It may be mentioned that certain antisocial/ criminal elements influence the Patwaris and obtain 7/12 documents of innocent farmers and thus grab land and property of theirs by fraudulent means.
It is also gathered that such antisocial elements also have their own experts in imitating the signatures of any one, and they thus prepare fake documents making them look genuine.
