Unidentified robbers loot booty worth Rs 5 lakh

A house-breaking theft was registered under Sakkardara Police Station area on Thursday. Complainant Neeta Virendra Pande (41), a resident of Flat No. 301, Gauri Apartment, Dattatray Nagar, had gone with to drop her son for his Std X examination paper. Her maid completed her household work and left the house keys with neighbor Fulsunge.

Some unidentified youths broke open the main door and gained entry in the house. They loot Rs 1 lakh and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 5 lakh from the bedroom.

When Neeta came back home, she discovered the broken lock. She rushed inside the house only to find robbery of Rs 5 lakh. She informed Sakkardara police about the incident. PI Lengre registered an offence under Sections 354 and 380 of the IPC against unidentified robbers. PSI Dangre is investigating the case
