Nagpur: The much awaited Annual all eves’ expo ‘Udyuojika’ organized by the Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association took off to a great start. The exhibition on the 20th year since its inception was inaugurated by Director of MSME, Nagpur P M Parlewar, and Superintendent of Police, CID Dr. Aarti Singh in a glittering ceremony at the Kusumtai Wankhede Hall in the presence of several industrial and social luminaries of Nagpur.
Udyojika is an Annual Event in memory of Late Smt. Kusumtai Wankhede with Bar. Sheshrao Wankhede Trust to provide platform to ‘upcoming lady entrepreneurs. The event graced by Patron and former Mayor of Nagpur Kundatai Vijeyekar, President of VIA Atul Pande, Past President of VIA and coordinator of LEW Suresh Agrawal, Hon Secretary of VIA Suhas Buddhe, Chairperson of LEW Shachi Mallick, Secretary of LEW Reeta Lanjewar and all the advisory and members of LEW.
On the occasion, Chairperson of LEW Shachi Mallick, welcomed all the guests and announced the opening of the exhibition, she emphasized that supporting the villagers is the theme – “Van Sampada Samvardhan” of this year, stalls provided to tribal’s and villagers to display their products at the hall of first floor.
She thanked Bar Sheshrao Wankhede Trust for helping VIA-LEW to promote women entrepreneurship and also other members of VIA for wholeheartedly supporting and extending their guidance to LEW for successful holding of exhibition since 20 years.
P M Parlewar congratulated LEW Team members for the wonderful organizing this event and providing opportunity to women entrepreneurs in fulfilling their dreams. He also emphasized that ladies should take advantage of the Govt. Schemes which are designed for lady entrepreneurs.
Dr. Aarti Singh appreciated the efforts of all Lady Entrepreneurs for holding this exhibition for the benefit of ladies and also providing them wonderful platform to showcase and market their products in large masses.
Kundatai Vijaykar also congratulated VIA LEW team for their consistency year after year in holding ‘Udyojika’ so successfully.
Past President of VIA and Coordinator of LEW Suresh Agrawal spoke about journey of ‘Udyojika’ on how a small idea to promote women entrepreneurship has resulted in a big and organized exhibition which has seen the emergence of women in various fields of Entrepreneurship. DGM of SIDBI P. K. Nath , President of VIA Atul Pande, Secretary of VIA Suhas Buddhe, Arvind Thatte, Girish Deodhar, EC Member VIA, Smita Dabholkar also present on this occasion.
The programme was conducted by Past Chairperson of LEW Y Ramani, Vice President of LEW Manish Bawankar vote of thanks proposed by Reeta Lanjewar, Secretary LEW and executive committee members Madhubala Singh, Neelam Bowade, Sarita Pawar, Sarla Kamdar, Vandan Sharma, Mitali Rafiuq, Indu Khirsagar, Rashmi Kulkarni, Anamika Modi, Anajali Gupta, Anita Rao and Poonam Lala were present on this occasion. Chairperson of LEW Schachi Mallik urged people to visit the Udyojika Exhibition with their family members, friends and colleagues. Exhibition will be on till October 3, 2016 from 9 am to 9.00 pm.
