Nagpur: A girl undergoing treatment for her illness was allegedly raped by her aquaintance and his friend while she was putting stay at the accused’s house for getting medical aid.
According to sources, while lodging a complaint with the Yashodara Nagar Police Station, the 21-year-old victim alleged that since her health was not keeping good, she had to undergo treatment at a nearby hospital. The victim’s father had left the victim with a close relative’s house where the relative and his friend committed the heinous act.
According to police information, the accused is identified as Mohammed Yunus Gafar Qureshi and Rohit Purushottam Patel had taken advantage of the girl living in the house of the accused and raped her.
The 21-year old victim, a resident of Tipu Sultan Square, Shiv Shakti Nagar who was kept in the house of the close relative of the father of the victim for getting medical treatment in a hospital close by.
However, the accused raped her once in a few days time when the victim did not complain. However, when the accused raped her again with his close friend after two months, this time, the victim gathered guts and reported the matter to the police.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, the cops of Yashodara Police Station registered a case of rape against the accused duo. The accused are said to have absconded. The cops of Yashodara Police Station are on the look-out for the accused.
