Nagpur: Tension prevailed in North Nagpur on Monday night when two youths open fired on a man identified as Kapil Kuldip Turate (32), a resident of Joshipura Binaki. The duo fired at the man with an intent to kill Turate near Mehandibagh Bridge on Monday night.
The bullet shot Kapil in his hand and injured him. This is the second time in a month when kapil was targeted. Similar incident took place on April 22 at the same place where the accused tried to shoot him and kill him but their attempt failed, Although Kapil did not register the complaint back then. According to the information, Kapil runs a business of fish aquarium. One year ago he was also kidnapped by goons belonging from Chennai.
According to the information, Kapil was returning home on his bike when two goons fired at him. The accused fled the spot soon after.
Panchpaoli police have registered the case under section 305, 34 and launched a hunt to nab them.
