Nagpur: Sadar police registered two separate cases of molestation on Friday wherein a young girl and a middle-aged woman were molested. Accused of both the cases have been booked by cops.
Police said, a 25-year-old was harassed by two men on Friday over parking issue. According to information, the young girl parked her vehicle in the parking zone in Chhaoni when E Anthony, a resident of Achraj Towers and Owner of S S Pharma Medicals asked the girl not to park the vehicle on that spot. The demanded explanation for this after which the accused started hurling profanities at her way and thus molesting her.
On the basis of the complaint by the 25-year-old girl, cops have registered an offence under Sections 354 (a) (1) (1) of the IPC and booked the two accused.
The second incident took place between June 2014 and August 5 under the jurisdiction of Sadar police station. A 34-year-old victim, in her statement, said that in order to gain name changing certificate and Separation Demand for development related to iron, she visited IT office between June and August 5. An official named Harne misbehaved with her and also used foul language, the police informed.
Sadar police have registered an offence under Sections 354 (a) (1) (4) of the IPC and have booked the person in question.
