Nagpur: Two women committed suicide in separately occurred incidents in the city on June 22, Monday. They are identified as Usha Shyamsunder Fulwale, aged 29, and Abhilasha Hansraj Adkane, aged 26.
According to Ajani police, deceased Usha Fulwale, resident of Srihari Nagar No. 3 hanged herself from a iron-hook in her bedroom with the help of a ‘odhani’. The reason of her suicide is not known. However, the police sent the body for postmortem report, and registered a case of accidental death for the time being. Further investigation in the case is underway.
About another incident, Pachpaoli police said that Abhilasha Adkane had hanged herself from a ceiling fan of her house on June 7 to commit suicide. The moment her family members happened to notice her, they removed her and immediately rushed her to a private hospital wherein she died during treatment. On receipt of information, the police registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation by PSI Rathod is underway.
