    Two students of RGCER drown in Mohgaon Zilpi Lake while swimming

    Nagpur: Two students of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and Research (RGCER), formerly known as NYSS College of Engineering and Research, reportedly drowned in Mohgaon Zilpi Lake near Hingna, around 35 kilometres away from Nagpur on Thursday. The RGCER is situated behind YCCE Campus, Hingna Road, Dhangarpura, Wanadongri.

    Both the students, Manthan Nandanghare, a native of Chandrapur and Anand Siddhesh Malode, resident of Manewada, Nagpur, had reportedly gone to the Zilpi Lake for swimming. The tragedy took place around 11 am. On being informed about the tragedy, a team of police reached the lake. The cops with the help of villagers fished out bodies of the two students.

    It could not be verified for what reason the two students had gone to the lake and whether more number of students were accompanying them.
