Two neighbours clash over petty issue in Reshimbagh, 2 injured

Nagpur: Two neighbours in Reshimbagh area of city lost their cool over a minor provocation and indulged in a violent fight causing bloody injuries two persons and damage to property. Complaint and counter complaint have been lodged in this connection and one person has been arrested.

The trouble started around 8.30 pm on Tuesday when grandson of complainant Ramdas Ramchandra Samarth (76), resident of Plot No. 3, Reshimbagh, hurled a stone at the house of the accused Shridhar Mahadeorao Mahakalkar (59) and Jitesh Shridhar Mahakalkar, both residents of Plot No. 2 in the same area. The hurling of stone by the kid provoked the two accused father-son duo to enter house of Ramdas and attack him with sticks. The old man Ramdas suffered head injuries. The accused also smashed lights fitted in the porch and damaged other property.

On the basis of a complaint lodged by Ramdas Samarth, Sakkardara PSI D K Naitam has booked the father-son duo under Sections 452, 326, 427, 34 of IPC and placed the accused Jitesh under custody.

However, the brawl refused to subside when the accused Jitesh Shridhar Mahakalkar went to the house of injured Ramdas Samarth and tried to pacify him and settle for peace. This time, Rajesh (40), son of Ramdas Samarth, without any thought, attacked Jitesh with sticks and injured him. Moreover, Rajesh went a step further and smashed glass windows of Jitesh’s car and put him to a loss.

This time, the PSI Naitam, acting on a counter complaint, registered a case under Sections 324, 506, 427, 34 of IPC against the accused Rajesh Samarth and probing the matter further.
