Nagpur: Two lewd men were arrested on the charges of molesting two girls including a minor one in separate incidents on Friday.
In the first incident, the accused Sachin Bandu Dongre (24), resident of Kalamna, entered the house of neighbouring 14-year old girl when she was alone around 1.45 pm on Friday. The girl’s mother had gone on work. The accused Sachin caught hold of the girl’s hand and indulged in vulgar acts putting the minor to shame. The victimised girl narrated the incident to her mother when she returned home. Taken aback, she immediately registered a case against the accused with Kalamna police.
PSI N R Analdas has booked the accused Sachin Dongre under Sections 452, 354, 354(A) of the IPC read with Sections 8, 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and arrested him.
In another incident, a 20-year old girl told Sitabuldi police that she along with her friends was going towards Variety Square walking around 9.30 pm on Friday. Midway near Mahalaxmi Bhojanalaya, the accused Ritesh alias Balya Vijay Sontakke (27), resident of Saraswati Nagar, Dhantoli, who was sitting on footpath, stood up and resorted to obscene acts directed towards the girl and thus outraged her modesty. She immediately approached the nearby Sitabuldi Police Station and lodged a complaint.
PSI S C Chavan booked the accused Ritesh Sontakke under Section 354(A) of the IPC and arrested him.
