Nagpur News : A 16-year-old minor girl and a 21-year-old young girl were molested in Pachpaoli and Hudkeshwar areas on Sunday. Police arrested a youth in the first case while booked another youth in the second case.
Pachpaoli police took Shahbaz Khan Shakil Khan (20) into their custody for molesting a 16-year-old girlon Monday at around 11.30 pm. The victim was fast asleep with her younger brother in her house when Shahbaz entered the house seeing the door open. He threatened the girl when she suddenly woke up and tried to outrage her modesty. On the basis of the statement given by the victim, Pachpaoli police arrested Shahbaz under Sections 354 read with sub section 7 and 8 of The Protection of Children From Sexual Act 2012.
In another case, a 21-year-old young girl lodged a complaint against a youth for allegedly molesting heron Sunday evening. According to the victim’s statement, the accused Sachin Vishnu Thorat gained entry in the victim’s house when she was alone. He locked the door and demanded the reason for her refusing for marriage with him. He abused her physically and molested her.
Hudkeshwar police booked Sachin after the young girl lodged a complaint with the cops. Cops slapped charges under Sections 354 (a) (1), 452, 294, and 323 of the IPC against Sachin.
