20-year-old girl drugged and molested by engineering student
Nagpur News: A third year engineering student was booked by MIDC police for allegedly molesting a 20-year-old girl by giving her drug laced cigarette.
Suraj Kumar, a native of Bihar, had called the girl in his hostel room on MIDC road.
The victim, who is pursing training for nurse, had recently shifted in the same private hostel. Being staying in the neighbouring room, both build up a good friendship.
On Wednesday midnight, Kumar called the victim at his room to talk. The girl in her statement claimed that Kumar had offered ganja filled cigarette to her due to which she fell unconscious.
Taking advantage of her drowsiness, Kumar stripped her and did indecent acts outraging her modesty. The victim said that before Kumar could go extreme, she gained her senses and rushed out of the room. She told that she took a shelter at a religious place near the hostel, where she was provided clothes and helped to file a police complaint.
Kumar is still absconding. MIDC police has booked his for molestation and causing hurt by giving drugs.
Neighbour booked for molesting minor
In another incident, a 25-year-old Durgesh Choudhary was booked for outraging the modesty of 14-year-old girl in Kalamna police station area on Wednesday.
Police said the minor was studying with her elder sister at their residence when Choudhary forcefully gained entry in the house and molested her. Choudhary was also booked for threatening the minor.
