Nagpur: Road accidents claimed lives of two persons in separate incidents reported in Gittikhadan and Lakadganj police jurisdictions.
In the first incident, a resident of Plot No. 62, Gautam Nagar, Bhivsenkhairi, Rohan Ravindra Shendre (25) was going on his bike (Mh-31/FD 8534) on Gorewada Ring Road around 9.45 pm on Friday. Midway near Forest Gate, Rohan rammed his speeding bike into a truck. He suffered fatal injuries and died on the spot.

Gittikhadan API Dere registered a case under Sections 304(A), 279 of the IPC and probing the matter.
In the second incident, a rashly driven truck knocked a pedestrian dead in Lakadganj area in the midnight of Friday. The deceased has not been identified.
The deceased, aged 40-45 years, was walking towards Prince Garage, Marwadi Square around 0005 hours of Friday. At the same time, an Eicher truck (MH-35/AJ 1172) hit him with great force killing him on the spot.
Lakadganj PSI Bangre booked the truck driver under Sections 304(A), 279 of the IPC read with Sections 184, 134, 177 of Motor Vehicles Act. Cops are searching for the accused driver.
