Nagpur: Two IT companies operating from MIHAN SEZ are set to expand their presence, bringing fresh employment opportunities and strengthening Nagpur’s growing IT ecosystem, according to sources.
IT firm Virtual Galaxy, which is already functioning from the Central Facility Building (CFB) at MIHAN SEZ, has expanded its operations by acquiring an additional 8,000 square feet of office space. With this expansion, the company is expected to generate around 150 new jobs. Interviews for these positions have already been conducted, and preference has reportedly been given to youth from the Vidarbha region.
Sources said Virtual Galaxy has been operating at MIHAN since September 2025. Following the expansion, the total number of IT professionals working at its Nagpur facility will rise to approximately 425. The company recently received a Letter of Approval (LoA) from the MIHAN SEZ Commissioner’s office for the additional space.

Meanwhile, another IT firm, Essent, which is also based in the CFB, is said to be in the process of securing 8,000 square feet of additional space for its own expansion. In addition, one more IT company currently operating at MIHAN has submitted an application seeking approval for expansion.
