A middle-aged man lost over Rs two lakh in the greed for pocketing Rs 15 lakh when two men duped him in the name of erecting mobile tower on the terrace of his house. The two accused, most probably with fictitious names, have been booked and are being searched by cops.

The victim Kishore Puranlal Gaur (54), resident of Plot No. 128, Ashirvad Nagar, Godhni Road, Nagpur, read an advertisement published in a newspaper regarding erection of mobile tower on terrace of house. After reading the alluring advertisement, Kishore contacted the two accused Vikram Singh and Niraj Kumar through mobile phones. Once in their trap, the accused asked Kishore to deposit a total of Rs 2,57,650 in their different bank accounts. At the same time, the two accused Vikram Singh and Niraj Kumar informed Kishore that a cheque of Rs 15 lakh has been deposited in his bank account. But Kishore never received the cash of Rs 15 lakh. He was duped by accused in a well-planned conspiracy.

Kittikhadan API Darekar, acting on the complaint filed by Kishore Gaur, booked the two accused under Sections 420, 34 of the IPC and searching for them.
