Nagpur News:

Dhantoli police have booked persons for duping a flat purchaser to the tune of a staggering Rs 2,20,00,000 (R 2.20 crore).

According to police, the accused Sachin Shatrughnaprasad Pande (37), Khushi Sachin Pande (33), Swarnim Dixit, and Jaikumar Dixit, all residents of Plot No 50, Nandini Apartment, Congress Nagar conspired and in a well-planned action approached Amit Anil Kothari (34), resident Nandini Apartment. They convinced Amit that the flat or flats belong to them and negotiated an agreement on 23-12-2012 and then prepared bogus documents. Amit handed over Rs 2,20,00,000 to the accused as the cost of the flat or flats. However, all the four accused failed or refused to furnish sale deed of the same. This way all the accused Sachin Shatrughnaprasad Pande, Khushi Sachin Pande, Swarnim Dixit, and Jaikumar Dixit cheated and breached the agreement negotiated with Amit.

Amit Kothari lodged a complaint with Dhantoli Police Station.  Dhantoli PSI Valvi registered offence against all the four accused under sections 418, 420, 406, 506 of IPC and is probing the matter further.
