Kotwali police have booked two youths for eve-teasing and molesting two young girls on Sunday.
Police sources said 22-year-old complainant had gone to the tailor’s shop with her younger sister on Sunday at around 5.30 pm. Meanwhile, two youths, eating ‘pani puri’ at a nearby stall, started teasing the girls and passed indecent comments. Later, when the girls left the shop and headed towards home, the accused started following them on their motorcycle (MH 49 M 220) and stopped the girls in front of Mehendibagh Lawn. The accused, yet to be identified, issued life threatening warning and molested the girls with their indecent gestures.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the girls, Kotwali police have registered an offence under Sections 294, 341, 354 (d), 506 (d) of the IPC against the accused youths
