Kalamna police have booked a truck driver on the charges of duping two traders to the tune of Rs 12,77,050.

According to police, the two traders, Anandkumar Maujilal Jain (37), resident of Anaj Bazaar, Itwari, Nagpur and Ramanand Agrawal negotiated a deal with the truck driver Mangatdeep Rajput for taking their goods to Lakhadaud in Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, Anandkumar Jain handed over 320 bags of Tuar (Daal) from his mill situated in Kalamna and Ramanand Agrawal gave 100 bags of Tuar from his Puja Daal Mill to Mangatdeep Rajput. Rajput loaded the 420 bags of Tuar worth Rs 12,77,050 into his truck (MP-17/HH 3134) between 23.6.2014 and 27.6.2014. But instead of taking the goods to the decided destination, the driver Rajput sold it at other place for his own benefits and thus duped both Jain and Agrawal. Kalamna PSI Raut, acting on the complaints of both the traders, has booked the truck driver Rajput under Section 407 of the IPC and launched a search to arrest him.
