Trickster from Rajasthan dupes 30-year-old man of Rs 5.25 lakh by promising job in RBI

Nagpur: Pratap Nagar Police have booked a 25-year-old Rajasthan based man for allegedly duping a Nagpurian of Rs 5.25 lakh by assuring him job in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Based on the complaint lodged by Shashikant Balasaheb Bansod (30), a resident of Flat No. 141, Kamgar Colony, Subhash Nagar, cops have booked the accused, identified as Mohansingh Bhavarsingh Rao (25), a resident of Ratan Sagar Posaliya Sirihi, Rajasthan on the charges of fraud.

In his complaint Bansod told police that the accused Rao had assured him a job in the RBI in lieu of Rs 5.25 lakh between February 9 and December 2, 2021. However, despite paying the said amount, Bansod never received any job letter from RBI. Following which he approached Pratap Nagar Police Station.
