Transformer Design Workshop held in Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering

A five days workshop on “3 Phase Transformer Design” was organized for the students of Polytechnic colleges in Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College Engineering from 9th May to 13th May 2016 by the department of Electrical Engineering in association with N. KENIN Transformer, Latur.

The objective of this workshop was to impart the theoretical as well as practical knowledge, to assemble core, LV & HV winding and testing of 3 phase transformer by the students themselves. The workshop got overwhelming response of the participants from various polytechnic colleges.

The workshop was inaugurated by the hand of Principal Dr. R. V. Kshirsagar, and Nachiket Kulkarni, Director, N. KENIN Transformer, Chief Guest for the program. Dr. R.V. Kshirsagar, Principal motivated, guided and addressed the students about the importance of transformer for Electrical Engineers. U.B. Malkhandale, HOD Electrical department briefed about the five days workshop. A.A. Deosant proposed a vote of thanks. Hiteshree Sakhare compared the program. Prof. Dr. B. Burande, Prof. V.G. Kondekar were present on the occasion. Prof Shelke, Prof. Umale, Prof. Muneeb Ahmad, Prof. Bhaladhare, Prof. Pandey worked hard for the success of the workshop.
