Nagpur: Rajaram Narayanrao Waghade and Ghanshyam Sampatrao Choudhary have filed a petition in the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court appealing to transfer investigation from Ambazari police to State Investigation Department as no arrest has been made so far in a case against BJP Parinay Fukey and his aides though they had launched a life threatening- attack on them.

According to the prosecution, the Ambazari police had lodged a FIR on a complaint of Rajaram Narayanrao Waghade and Ghanshyam Sampatrao Choudhary. The police had even registered cases under section 143, 147, 149, 324, 427, 294 of IPC. The police had got CCTV footage from the flat scheme where the entire episode was recorded.

The police even assured that they would take proper action against all the accused but since Parinay Fukey is a MLC appropriate permission would be sought before arresting him. Since the investigations did not progress. Rajaram Narayanrao Waghade and Ghanshyam Sampatrao Choudhary through a letter to Police Commissioner had demanded action but even after a lapse of 10 months there has been no progress despite clinching evidence in possession of police. Finally, the victims have appealed to the court to withdraw the investigations from Ambazari police and transfer it to the State Investigation Department.

Advocates Adv Ranjit Sardey and G M Shitut appeared for petitioner.
