NAGPUR: A 40-year-old employee of HCL Technologies tragically died of a cardiac arrest in the washroom of the company’s office located in the Mihan area of Nagpur. The incident occurred on Friday evening, prompting a swift response from colleagues and local authorities.
The deceased, identified as Nitin Edwin Michael, was a senior analyst at HCL. According to officials from the Sonegaon police station, he was found unresponsive in the washroom at approximately 7 PM. His colleagues quickly transported him to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Nagpur, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The Sonegaon police have registered a case of accidental death and have sent the body for a postmortem examination. Initial autopsy findings confirm that Michael succumbed to cardiac arrest. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
Michael leaves behind a grieving family, including his wife and their six-year-old son.
