Traffic regulated on certain roads in view of President’s visit

Nagpur: Police have imposed traffic restrictions on certain roads following the visit of President of India Pranab Mukherjee on September 15. The restrictions will be in force on September 14 and 15, 2015.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Bharat Tangde, the President and the other VIPs are using various roads for various programmes, the following roads will be out of bound for the general public from 5 pm to 7 pm on September 14, 2015.

1. The road from Airport to Rahate Colony to Samvidhan Square (RBI Square) to Ladies Club Square to Raj Bhavan and
2. The road from Old Katol Octroi Post Square to Mental Hospital Square to Mankapur Sports Complex.

The restrictions for September 15, 2015, will be on the following roads from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

1. The Road from Raj Bhavan to Ladies Club Square to Law College Square to Ravi Nagar Square to Ram Nagar Square to Yeshwant Nagar Police Post to VNIT and
2.  The Road from VNIT to Mate Square to Laxmi Nagar Square to Kruplani Turning to Hotel Pride to Airport.

DCP Bharat Tangde has appealed to the citizens to avoid traversing on these roads in the above mentioned dates and time to avoid inconvenience.
