Nagpur: Traffic cops chased a car and seized stock of liquor bottles being transported illegally. Three persons have been booked in this regard.
A team of police, led by Traffic Branch No. 5 Police Inspector Naresh Pawar, on Monday spotted an Audi car (DD-03/U 0072) speeding in front of Maruti Showroom Square and chased the vehicle. The car was stopped on Kamptee Road. Upon frisking of the car, the cops found four bottles of high-end wine bottles worth Rs 6,000. The wine bottles and the Audi collectively worth 15 lakh was seized by the traffic cops.
Three persons travelling in the car namely Gurmit Singh Bhamra of Jaripatka, Amol Fulzele of Subodh Nagar and Anil Kesarvani have been booked by Jaripatka police.
