Nagpur: A 16-month-old girl succumbed to injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Tuesday after falling from second floor of her house at Somwari Quarters. Sakkardara police have registered a case of accidental death after receiving MLC from GMCH.

Police said that Purvi Muddamwar was playing in her house, along with her mother and elder sister in the afternoon. After some time, Purvi’s mother took her elder sister, aged around 5 years, to the washroom downstairs. Purvi was playing alone, started crawling towards the balcony and fell down.
