Nagpur: A tigress T-35 found dead during monitoring at Comp. No 635 in Pathar Beat of Saleghat range in Pench Tiger Reserve here, on Tuesday.
On receiving videos of tigress, with some unusual behaviour, a monitoring team was sent to concern area by Tuesday morning. The team found dead tigress by 1:00pm. No injury marks on carcass.
Postmortem team is heading towards spot. Exact reason will be declared after the Postmartem, said sources from Forest Department.
“Teams are searching for all other possible reasons,” the sources added.
