‘Tiger’ Shroff adopts tigress at Maharajbagh to show off ‘Heropanti’!

All set for big ticket Bollywood debut with his first outing ‘Heropanti’, son of yesteryears star Jackie Shroff, Tiger Shroff was quite a rage among the young movie buffs, thanks to the tailor made jokes on him doing rounds on twitter. And the scene was no different when Tiger landed Orange City to promote his flick along with his lady lead Kriti Sanon. Tiger picked up the occasion to show his wildlife concern as he adopted a tigress at Maharajbagh Zoo where he made brief appearance during his visit here. Tiger Shroff has taken up the onus of upbringing of the tigress for a period of an year. The zoo authorities have been floating the option of adopting wild animals at their property, open to public. Both Tiger and Kriti also went to Nagpur Film Academy at IT Park here. Subhash Ghai’s film institute Whistling Woods has its association with this Academy which trains students in various streams of film making.

On meeting the students there Tiger said “Its a great industry to work and hardwork makes your way. So work hard and be focused.” Adding to Tiger’s view on Hindi Cinema Actress Kriti Sanon said “I am so happy to be here, so be a go getter and make your dreams come true”.

Kiran Khatke, Director NFA said “We at NFA want to give best to our students and I am sure with the presence of Tiger and Kriti, our students got motivated. NFA is planning more such activities to make Nagpur aspirants make their way to Cinema.”

Talking about his move to adopt the wild cat, Tiger said, “I adopted the tigress because the species is on the verge of extinction. Apart from this, now I am recognized as somebody and once the film becomes a success, I will have an money and power. He however added that “I know that with power comes responsibility. So I want to be responsible to the society and do something significant.”

Tiger Shroff & Kriti Sanon who were in the city to promote their upcoming movie, “Heropanti”, addressed the media personnel in the city. He was escorted by one of the Reputed Businessman Ravi Agrawal. Both the stars were welcomed by Ravi Agrawal with a floral bouquet.

When asked if he would fit into his father’s shoes, he said that they both (father & son) are of different personality so I shouldn’t be compared with him. He has his own charms and respect that he has earned the hard way, while I am young and am trying to make a niche for myself.

When asked about how the two films, the first film starring Jackie Shroff “Hero” and Tiger Shroff starring film “Heropanti” is different, he said that both are different from each other. The character depicted is a lot different from “Hero” and shows a character which the youth of today can easily identify with.

The co-actress Kriti Sanon said that this movie has a lot of drama, action, entertainment, love etc. This movie depicts things which the youth can easily identify. Sanon added that when the audience walks out, they should feel completely entertained and at the same time carry a message too.

When asked about her debut in the movies and was she not afraid that she would be overshadowed, she replied that she has faced the camera earlier too and was never camera shy so she was comfortable in front of the movie camera and did perform good.

When Tiger Shroff was asked about his experience in Nagpur, he said that Nagpur is a city of Tigers. He said that he adopted a Tiger and that he realized that in real life they are very intimidating and that he is afraid of them.

Both the hero and the heroine of the film “Heropanti’ solicited the people of the city to watch the movie since the movie has entertainment, fresh faces (almost 23 of them), a different kind of action, good chemistry between the actor and the actress, romance etc which the youth can easily identify with.
