Three women robbed of gold valuables on Ramnavmi

Nagpur News : Three women were robbed of their valuables on Ramnavmi in separate incidents on Friday evening.

Megha Paranjpe and Rajashree Surjuse were busy watching Ramnavmi procession passing through WHC road in Dharampeth when they realised that their valuables wore by them have been stolen. The women claimed that some unidentified thief might have made away with the valuables worth Rs 75,000 from both in the crowd. Paranjpe suffered a loss of gold ornament worth Rs 25,000 while Surjuse, a resident of Trust lay out was robbed of gold ornament worth Rs 70,000. Both the cases have been registered at Ambazari police station.

In another incident, Vaishali Kawde was riding pillion on her husband Vinodrao’s scooter and were heading to their Raghuji Nagar residence when two youths on a speeding bike snatched away her gold ornament worth Rs 60,000. Kawde couple was passing through Rahate colony around 10.45 pm when they were robbed of gold. Dhantoli police has registered a case.
