Three stab youth with sharp weapons; booked

: A youth was attacked by three other youths over an old rivalry on Tuesday under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station. The accused have been identified as Ashish alias Chhotu Narul Haq (25), a resident of Shaniwari, Cotton Market, near Ganpati Mandir; Pawan Santosh Sharma (28), a resident of Shaniwari, Cotton Market, near Suzuki Motors; and Anil Sadanand Wanjare (22), a resident of Plot No. 2, Navin Nagar, Pardi. Police sources said the accused had a tiff with Nadeem Khan Mobin Khan (20) and they wanted to settle scores with him. On Tuesday the accused met Mobin Khan at around 1.45 pm. With an aim to teach Mobin a lesson, the accused attacked him with sharp-edged weapons and injured him grievously. Mobin was rushed to a government hospital for further treatment.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by Jabbar Khan Mobin Khan, Kotwali police have registered an offence under Sections 326 and 34 of the IPC and have booked the three accused.
