Three lives lost under speeding wheels in separate incidents

A slight distortion on the road may cost you life, thanks to the reckless drivers mushrooming the city roads. On Wednesday the city saw three people losing life at the hands of reckless drivers in separate incidents. An elderly woman was also included among the deceased.

The first incident took place near Rajiv Nagar bus stops, MIDC at around 9 am. Nanibai Brahmane, 65, a resident of Rajiv Nagar had gone to see off her relatives at bus stop. The woman was coming out of the bus when she slipped and came under the rear wheel of the bus. She succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

MIDC police has registered a case against the bus driver.In other incident, an unidentified speeding vehicle knocked dead Premsingh
Korche, 55, a resident of Khapri. Around 6 pm, Korche was heading home on his bike when a rashly driven vehicle knocked him dead. A case has been registered at Sonegaon police station.

An hour later, an over speeding truck knocked dead a biker, Raju Nageshwar, 30, a resident of Satimata Nagar, Pardi, on Kalamna Ring Road on Wednesday. Yashodhara Nagar police has registered a case against speeding truck driver.
