Nagpur: A Tetanus Toxoid (TT) vaccination drive will be undertaken jointly by Nagpur Municipal Corporation and JCI Gondwana on September 9. The drive aims at vaccinating labourers seating at various centres (thiyas) across the city. The vaccination will take place for labourers seating at four centers (thiyas). In this connection, a vaccination programme, to be presided over by Mayor Pravin Datke, has been organized Pratapnagar labour center (Thiya) in front of Dhomne Jewellers at 8.30 am on September 9.
The TT vaccination drive will take place as follows:
1) NMC’s Buty Hospital, Pardi Ayurvedic Hospital, Isolation Hospital and Mahal Diagnostic Centre for labourers of Manewada Cement Road centre (Thiya) from 8 am to 11 am on September 9.
2) NMC’s CTTB Sadar, Pachpaoli Ayurvedic Hospital, Isolation Hospital, Sadar Diagnostic Center and Pachpaoli Hospital for labourers seating at Jaripatka Thiya from 8 am to 11 am on September 9.
3) NMC’s Indira Gandhi Hospital, Isolation Hospital, Khamla Ayurvedic Hospital for labourers seating at Pratapnagar Thiya from 8 am to 11 am on Sept 9.
4) NMC’s Indira Gandhi Hospital, Khamla Ayurvedic Hospital, Telangkhedi Ayurvedic Hospital for labourers having their thiya at Panchsheel Talkies from 8 am to 11 am on September 9.
Teams of doctors, nurses, attendants and a fleet of ambulances will be stationed at the decided hospitals for TT vaccination.
