Nagpur News: Tension ran high in Civil Lines area near VCA Stadium when a mix-up of accidents occurred at about 9.30 pm on Thursday. A truck towing a vehicle, a car and a police vehicles were involved the accidents.
According to reports, a truck towing a vehicle was passing through the spot but the truck driver misjudged the distance which resulted in the towed vehicle hitting a Verna car (MH1-18 W 2125). In turn, the Verna driver lost control over the steering and crashed his car into a police vehicle (MH-31/AG 9239).
However, the occupants of the Verna escaped unhurt. In fact, no one was injured in the mixed accident. But the spot drew large number onlookers triggering a tensed situation. In the melee, the truck driver along with his truck and the towed vehicle fled the scene.

Sadar police were informed about the accidents. A team of policemen reached the spot immediately and controlled the situation. Offences have been registered against the drivers of the truck, Verna car and the police vehicle. Police have seized the car and investigating the matter further.
