Nagpur:
Three young boys assaulted a teenager over a trivial issue and attempted to murder him by stabbing him with knives right in front of office of MLA Vikas Kumbhare near Golibar Chowk in Tehsil area on Tuesday night. After the murderous attack, the three accused fled the spot and are now a subject of manhunt.

The victim Akshay Sanjay Sahare (18), resident of Naik Talao, Telipura, was returning home around 9.30 pm on Tuesday on his motorcycle. Midway, near Naik Talao, mud got hurled by Akshay’s motorcycle and the stuff struck the three accused identified by their first names only as Roshan, Ankush and Sachin. The petty issue led to exchange of hot words between Akshay and the three accused. During the wordy duel, Roshan, Ankush and Sachin threatened Akshay that they will come to his house and kill him. With these menacing words, the accused “invited” Akshay to come at Golibar Square near Chichghare Dabeli which is right in front of Central Nagpur MLA Vikas Kumbhare’s office. Akshay too, it seems, “accepted” the challenge and went to the spot. As soon as he reached there, the three accused first assaulted him with fists and kicks and then stabbed him with knives with the intention to kill him. After the attack, the three accused fled the spot and went absconding.

Tehsil API V J Giri, based on a complaint of Akshay and doctor’s injury report, has booked the accused under Sections 307, 34 of IPC and mounted a hunt to nab them.
