Nagpur: With a total of 35 matches slated to be played in the 27-day ICC World T20 Cricket Tournament across eight cities including Nagpur, Dharamsala, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Mohali, Mumbai and New Delhi, the team India arrived at Nagpur on March 14, 2016.
The excellent build-up run has made India one of the clear favourites for an unprecedented 2nd World Twenty20 title. The team was seen practicing for the match to take on a spirited New Zealand in their campaign-opener here in the city at VCA Stadium on March 15, 2016.
The Semifinals are slated to be held in New Delhi and Mumbai on March 30 and 31, respectively, while the Final will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on April 3. There is a reserve day for the final.
For all city fans of Indian team, the campaign will start on March 15 against New Zealand at Nagpur. Indian Team are in Group 2 of Super 10 along with four other teams – Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand and winner Group A qualifiers (Q1A).
They will meet Pakistan on March 19 at Kolkata whereas their match against Australia will be played on March 27, 2016 at Mohali.
