Nagpur: Tara Group of Medicals organized “Tara Pharma Cricket League-2” (TPCL-2) in association with Tara Pharma Avengers from November 3 to 13 at Muzumdar Cricket Academy Cricket Ground, Vasant Nagar,Nagpur. The grand finale was held on November 13.
Team Tara Pharma Avengers won the title of TPCL-2 while Team KMS secured 1st runner-up and Team Star11 was 2nd runner up. Man of the Series award was given to Ritesh Amle, and best batsman award given to Shankar Rajguru, best bowler award was bagged by Bharat Kathale.
This grand Cricket premier league event was organized especially for healthcare workers, pharmacists, chemists and pharmaceutical sales representatives of Vidarbha. TPCL-2 matches were played in the first four days between 16 teams, out of which Tara Pharma Avengers, KMF, Royal Pharma, NOCC, NDCDA, Star XI, Saksham XI, UCC qualified for quarterfinals.
Chief Guest Bhupendra Marliwar, Director of Tara Group of Medicals and guest of honour Bhushan Marliwar, Shridhar Dhavle, Ashish Khatri, Manoj Taori, Rahul Khawas and Guddu Pathan were present during the award distribution ceremony. All the dignitaries gave the trophies to all the winners.
Chief Guest Bhupendra Marliwar said in his speech that Pharma Healthcare Workers working hard continuously since the pandemic situation and sports give them more energy to keep healthy and to maintain fitness in day to day life.
