Kriti Sanon and Taapsee Pannu
It’s the time when actors and actresses in the Hindi film industry are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to experimenting with their roles. While Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as a dwarf in his upcoming film, Zero, Salman Khan will have five different looks (from age 18 to 70) in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. The ladies too are all for taking their work to the next level as a recent report states that Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Sanon will play 60-year-olds in their upcoming film together, Womaniya. While it was already known that Taapsee is a part of this two-heroine project, now we hear that Kriti too has read the scripts and is very much interested in doing this film. Womaniya traces the life and success story of two shooters.

“Kriti has heard the script and liked it. Both actresses will play 60-year olds in certain portions of the film as the story is told in flashback. They will be required to train before the film rolls towards the middle of this year,” a source was quoted by the tabloid. Produced under Phantom Films by Madhu Mantena, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Vikas Bahl, Womaniya will be helmed by a new director.

This really looks interesting. And considering, the film is coming from Phantom Films, Womaniya has become all the way more exciting. It’s also good to see that the actors are not shying away from doing two-hero/heroine projects these days. We saw how Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh impressed everyone with their roles in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Interestingly, Bollywood’s last two-heroine project was Judwaa 2 and it had Taapsee along with Jacqueline Fernandez.
