Swine Flu: With 3 more Nagpur records 51 deaths in last 57 days

Nagpur: Swine flu has claimed three more lives in the city, while 32 patients have tested positive for the disease. The Nagpur division has recorded 51 deaths in the past 57 days, it was learnt.

The deceased persons have been identified as Sunil Bhandarkar (52), a resident of Bhandara, Vasudha Padghane (45), a resident of Dabha and Sharda Ingle (32), a resident of Indora.

Sunil Bhandarkar was admitted to Government Medical College and Hospital on February 23. He succumbed to the disease while undergoing treatment on Friday at 3.30 pm.

Likewise, Vasudha Padghane was admitted to a private hospital at Ravi Nagar square on February 20. She tested positive on February 21. She died while undergoing treatment on Friday morning. Sharda Ingle succumbed to the disease on Tuesday, though her report was received today, which was obviously positive.
