Nagpur News:The Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court has given two weeks time to the district administration to provide present status about the swine flu disease on Wednesday. The government machinery has failed to counter the scourge of the deadly disease resulting in its spread at a faster rate. THis fact was brought to the notice of the high court by a city businessman Anil Agre.

It may be noted here that Agre has already filed a public interest litigation on the threat of dengue and ineffectiveness on the part of district administration to counter it. The same petition came to be amended to incorporate the menace of swine flu, it was learnt.

The petitioner has argued that necessary instructions should be given to the administration to tackle the deaths and rising number of cases due to swine flu.
