City’s water polo player Sarthak Dhurve has been selected in the Maharashtra team for the national meet to be held at Thiruvananthpuram in Kerala.
A class XII student of Mohta Science College, Sarthak impressed the select or with his goal scoring abilities inthe state level water polo championship that recently concluded at NIT swimming pool. He scored four goals each against Pune and Nashik during the tournament.
He also participated in the 400m freestyle event. Sarthak wong old medal in the nation al meetin2017-18thatwasheldatPune. Son of international adventure swimmer Sukhdeo, he trains regularly at Kamgar and NIT pools under NIS coach Yogesh Khobragade and Chetan Garge.
