Nagpur: External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will address a women’s convention organized by mayor Nanda Jichkar on Tuesday.
The convention will be organized at Hotel Regenta Central, Jagnade Square, Nandanvan at 3.30pm and conclude at 5pm. Jichkar said that there was anger among women regarding increase in prices of cooking gas. “Swaraj will explain them the reasons for the hike,” she said.
At 5.30pm, Swaraj will attend the Sarv Vargiya Vyashya Samaj Sammelan, organized by BJP leader Jaiprakash Gupta, at Agrasen Bhawan, Ravi Nagar Square. The minister will arrive in the city at 12.30pm. The time till 3.15pm is reserve. She will leave for Delhi at 8pm.
