As we all know that Saif Ali Khan and his former wife Amruta Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan will be seen romancihg Sushant Singh Rajput in her first Bollywood outing Kedarnath. Soon after the news broke out, there were rumours that Sushant will play a daaku in this movie. But now it is learnt Sushant is not playing an outlaw in the film directed by Abhishek Kapoor.
Instead, Sushant will be seen playing a pithoo, a man who makes a living by carrying old and disabled pilgrims to the temple of Kedarnath.
Kedarnath, produced by KriArj (Prerna Arora and Arjun N Kapoor) and Balaji (Ekta Kapoor), will be shot in the area around the famous temple in Uttarakhand.
Sushant is working hard to bulk up so that he can convincingly play a pithoo on screen. Interestingly the actor has been prepping for two films, Kedarnath and Chanda Mama Door Ke, which are incredibly diverse from each other. In Chanda Mama he plays an astronaut.
Kedarnath is helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, who directed Sushant in his debut movie Kai Po Che.
This time, he is telling the story of a poor boy who falls for a rich girl. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan, plays the beautiful, rich girl in the film.
We had earlier told you that Sara has spent the past 50 days at intense workshops to get into character. The workshops are being held at Abhishek Kapoor’s office and Mukesh Chabbra’s acting academy where Sara is getting to grips with the emotions and body language of her character.
